C F Oakton to show for first time in High Point Market in International Home Furnishings Center, Design Center D850

LOS ANGELES, CA- Casegoods manufacturer, C F Oakton, will be exhibiting in High Point Market for the first time in the Design Wing of the International Home Furnishings Center, showroom D850.

CFO is a family business whose sister company, C F Kent , has over 20 years in the hospitality industry and manufactures all its home furnishings products using solid American hardwoods and veneers, full extension drawer guides, English dovetail drawer assembly, and bench crafted frames using a combination of traditional and modern joinery techniques. The company manufactures out of its own factories in Vietnam. Product can ship from its 60,000 square foot LA headquarters or in direct full, mixed or split containers from its overseas factories. .

The company started out making traditional Mission style furniture using all American Red Oak, but has transitioned into more contemporary looks like the new Fiera, which was introduced in the 2011 January Las Vegas Market and received a very positive reception.

“We see clean contemporary as a style that has not fully matured yet in the market,“ according to Jonathan Fu, President. “Although companies have developed newer looks in the past few years, there is still a lot of opportunity to develop exciting new styles that used mixed media and unique finishes that aren’t just espresso or wenge.”
